Eladio Hernandez

He is preceded in death by his wife, Celerina Hernandez. He is also preceded in death by his mother, Maria Hernandez and his brother, Fernando Hernandez.

He is survived by his children: Erica (Michael) Rivera, Eladio (Miranda) Hernandez, Angelica (Marty) Hernandez, Esmeralda Hernandez, and Jose (Adriana) Hernandez. Grandchildren: Michael Jr., Aiden, Tres, Jayce, Jazmyn, Giselle, RJ, Aubrey, Natalie, Joe Anthony, Vivian, Adrian, Zach, and Jazzlyn, and Junior. He is also survived by his daughters Laura, Lisa, Linda, as well as their children and a host of relatives and friends.

He will forever be remembered for his home DIY projects, bbq’s, and the love he had for his grandchildren. He loved a good beer, listening to old records, and making people laugh with his jokes. He was an amazing storyteller and could spend hours talking just about anything and everything. He was not only loved by his family but by his friends and those he met throughout his life. He never hesitated to help someone in need and always made sure his children and grandchildren were ok. He will be deeply missed.

He leaves behind a family that will miss him every day. There is some comfort in knowing that he and our mom are now reunited and that she is now taking care of him. We will miss them both deeply.

Viewing and rosary will be November 5th. Funeral mass is November 6th at 9 am at Christ the King Church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corpus Christi.
