At the age of 17, Eli met the love of his life, Lydia Perales. They were married and shared a beautiful son together, Eli Eloy Escobar Jr. Eli worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He worked for over 30 years in Houston, Texas, for a chemical company as a warehouse manager until his eventual retirement. He was the prime example of what a husband and father should be, always working to provide for his beloved family.
Eli will be remembered for his love of music, playing the guitar, and his abilities as a wonderful cook. If he wasn’t in the kitchen, he could be found rooting for his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Eli’s legacy will be left to those he cherishes through beautiful memories. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and love him.
Eli is reunited with his beloved wife of 50 years, Lydia Escobar; their son, Eli Eloy Escobar Jr.; and parents, Camillo Escobar and America Munoz Escobar. Those left to cherish his memories are his siblings, Olga (Marcos) Gomez, Roel M. Escobar, George Escobar, Camillo Escobar Jr., and Elizabeth Escobar Diaz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
