Elma was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was very active in her church and community. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Leida, (Kenny) Orgeron, Lillian Villarreal, Louie R. (Frances) Garza, Lonnie G. (Yvonne) Garza and Lester G. (Pamelia) Garza; sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Jane Hartgraves and Diana Robertson and brother, Severiano Guerra.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gilbert “Lefty” S. Garza.
The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly, with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Diego Cemetery, San Diego, Texas.
