Elvira M. Escamilla

Elvira M. Escamilla passed away at age 82, October 17, 2016. Born in Laredo, TX on January 12, 1934. Elvira was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin & friend to many.

Preceded in death by her mother: Benita Saucedo, sister: Ester Nino, brother: Fernando Saucedo, daughter: Carmen Maria Escamilla, sons: Rene Escamilla & Javier Escamilla, grandsons: Gary Rynkewitz, Frankie Rynkewitz & Joshua Nino.

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years: George Escamilla, Sr., son: George (Rosemary) Escamilla, Jr., daughter: Cynthia (Ty) Hardin, sisters: Josefina Rodriguez, Gloria (Omar) Madrigal, Guadalupe (Gilberto) Martinez, grandchildren: Tracie Escamilla, Selena Leal, & Cheryl (Abel) Acosta, great-grandchildren: Dylan Lewis, Angelina Ellis, Nataly Leal, Ava Acosta, Abel Acosta, Jace Rios, Alivia Acosta & Nevaeh Acosta.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 between the hours of 12:00-2:00pm and services starting at 2:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.

The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness, prayers & support. We would also like to thank Dr.Tompkins, nurses, CNA's and the administration faculty in caring for our mother during her stay at Windsor Calallen Nursing Home.
