Elvira P Mojica

Elvira Perez Mojica, 92, of Corpus Christi went to be with our Lord peacefully on March 26, 2023, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Elvira grew up in Corpus Christi, a town she loved and never left. She worked as a seamstress and was a school bus driver for many years and enjoyed bowling, swimming, gardening and riding her bike. She was an active member of Bethel Assembly of God Church for a great many years. Elvira will be forever in our hearts.

Elvira was predeceased by Meddie Mojica, her husband of 70 years, two sons, Alfredo and Daniel Cardenas, three sisters, Candelaria Molina, Ofelia Rivers and Estella Reyes. She is survived by her children, Pastor Rafael and Maria Garcia, Minandro Mojica, Jr., Jeff and Elvira Billie Millar, Lawrence Lee and Rachel Mojica Brown and Pastor Mike and Veronica Mojica. Meddie and Elvira had 7 children, 22 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren.

The family requested a celebration of life be in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Elvira’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Bethel Assembly of God Church, 3305 S Padre Island Dr., Corpus Christi, TX on July 16th at 5:00 PM. Gravesite service will be at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37 Access Road, Corpus Christi, TX on July 17th at 9:00 AM.
