

Ernesto was born in Edna, Texas on November 8, 1933 to Ernesto Morales and Consuelo Mireles.
Ernesto graduated from Benavides High School in 1952, attended Texas A&I College, and graduated from The University of Texas College of Pharmacy in 1957. While at UT he was a member of Kappa Psi and the Texas Pharmaceutical Association.
He served in the U.S. Army for two years as a hospital pharmacist at Camp Zama near Tokyo, Japan through 1960. For the next 55 years he worked in the hospital environment and in private practice in Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Bishop, and Falfurrias.
He is preceded in death by his sister Ernestina Morales of Alameda, Calif.
He was married to Mrs. Bertha Moralez (dec.) for 42 years. He is survived by his children Ernie (Gissell), Connie Moralez-Piper (Chris, dec.), Jerry (Karyn), and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
