She was born on August 29, 1951 in Robstown, Texas to the late, Emma Louisa Silva Banspach and Henry Banspach.
Eunice was raised in various cities around Texas with her brother and sisters, but made her home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She graduated as a proud “Battling Buc” from Roy Miller High School in 1969, where she played the clarinet in band and was a member of the choir. After high school, she pursued a career in nursing and graduated in 1971 from the Del Mar Tech Nursing Program with an LVN certification. Eunice was a very compassionate nurse to all her patients and is remembered by her nursing friends as a diligent, kind, and hardworking women with an incredible sense of humor.
Eunice was creative, talented, and devoted to her arts and crafts, sewing, and flower arrangements, as well as being an avid music and hockey fan. Her real passion lay with her daughter, family, and friends. She sought to instill a heart and life full of love and laughter to her daughter, Esther; a warm and compassionate commitment to her family and friends, and to keep a close bond with family, even when miles apart.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma; her father, Henry; her brother in law, Jesus Guzman and other family and friends.
Eunice is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Esther Emma Banspach; her brother, Jacob Banspach; her sisters, Colby Bowden (David Bowden), Rachel Guzman, and Esther Thompson (Jason Thompson); half siblings, her numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel with a prayer service to be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at La Trinidad Christian Church on 2634 Tarleton. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
