Ms. Evangelina C. (Cruz) Zamora, age 84 passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. Evangelina was born August 20, 1937 in San Miguel De Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico to her parents Ustacio and Maria Concepcion Cruz.
Evangelina will be remembered as a very humble, loving, caring mother and the best babysitter, at age 7 she lost her father and at the age of 10 she was brought over to the United States where she was raised by Francisca Paz Villarreal in McAllen, Texas
Evangelina is survived by her only son; Arnulfo Juan Zamora of Corpus Christi, Texas and is preceded in death by her husband; Arnulfo V. Zamora, parents; Ustacio Cruz and Maria Concepcion Murga de Cruz, all her siblings; Dolores Cruz, Francisco Cruz Murga, Maria De Los Angeles Cruz Murga, and Juan Cruz Murga.
Visitation for Ms. Evangelina will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel Cheyenne from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Committal will on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.
