Faustino Jimenez

Faustino Jimenez, 80, passed away on October 7, 2011. He was born in Raymondville, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Jorge and Guadalupe Jimenez; son Rogerio Jimenez, son-in-law Mike Gonzalez; sisters Manuelita Rodriguez and Lucia Salinas.

Faustino was a truck driver and construction worker. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife Ofelia Jimenez; children Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Yolanda Gonzales, Maria Luisa (Andres R.) Gomez, and Alicia Jimenez; daughter-in-law Carmen Jimenez; grandchildren: Christina Alaniz, Andrea Flores, John Gonzales, Matthew Gonzales, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, Jr., George Gabriel Jimenez, Noel (Renee) Rodriguez Jr., Mark Anthony (Claudia) Rodriguez, Amanda Marie Gomez, Austin Alan Gazaway, Adrian Lee Gazaway, Alana Alicia Gazaway, Richard, Rogerio Jr. and Cynthia Jimenez, Patricia (Ricardo) Barrientes and Antonio F. Vaquera; great-grand children: Robert Lopez, Nicholas Jimenez, Alfredo, Angie, Margaret, Louie, Anthony, Lilly and Aliah Flores, Lorissa, Destiny, John Jr., Erik, Ava and Michael Gonzales, Zilee Pavlik, Amariah and Kasiah M. Rodriguez, Mark A. Rodriguez, Jr., Andrew Vela, Sariah Ortiz, Lina Molina, Isaiah, and Ricardo Barrientes.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9, 2011, at Funeraria del Angel, 549 Cheyenne Street, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, October 10, 2011 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be:Andy Gomez, Noe Rodriguez, Mark Rodriguez, Tony Vaquera, Adrian Gazaway. and Felipe Valerio.
