Felix Salazar

Felix T. Salazar Jr. of Corpus Christi TX, devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on May 11, 1949, in San Diego, TX, to Felix Salazar Sr. and Elida Salazar, he was the eldest of four siblings.

Felix is preceded in death by his beloved Wife, Esther Salazar, his father, Felix Salazar Sr, and his grandchild, Edward Salazar.

Felix embarked on a career in the United States Air Force, joining active duty service in 1967 before retiring from CCAD as an Aircraft Welder. While Felix' service to his country was remarkable, he will always be remembered for the love and devotion he had for his family. Throughout his life, Felix was blessed with a loving family. Raising his children and watching them grow and flourish was his greatest joy.

Felix is survived by his children from his first marriage: Felix III and Melissa Salazar. He married his wife, Esther Salazar, on May 11, 1980, and is survived by Debbie Salazar and Juan Salazar (Veronica). Additionally, he is survived by his mother, Elida Salazar, and his siblings, Victor Salazar, Johnny Salazar, and Belinda Quintana (Jesse). Felix was a loving and devoted grandfather to his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life. He is survived by Michael Salazar, Dominique Salazar, Alexandria Salazar, Gabriel Salazar, and great grandkids, Richard and Nevaeh Quinonez.

A visitation is scheduled for Mr. Salazar on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with the Funeral Service being held at 4:00 PM. Services will conclude in the Memory Gardens Chapel.
