Gary graduated from Richard King High School in 1986. He worked at Nolan's Restaurant in Calallen. In his younger years, Gary enjoyed playing golf and hunting, but more recently spent his spare time working on cars.
Gary was preceded in eternal rest by his father, Glenn Arthur Burkhart Sr.
He is survived by his mother; Doris Ruth Burkhart, children; Jenna Michelle Burkhart, Ryan Allen Burkhart, three grandchildren, siblings; Glenn Arthur Burkhart Jr., Deborah Ruth Gallagher, and Karen Denise Bell; five nieces and four nephews.
Funeral visitation will held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 11am with a funeral service at 12pm and burial to follow at 1pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
