Geoffrey F. Zimmerman

Geoffrey Frank Zimmerman, age 72, passed away on June 1, 2023. Geoff was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on September 12, 1950 to Osman Frank Zimmerman and Ruth Zimmerman. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend; and he will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Geoffrey was married to his wife, Alice Lightly Zimmerman for 10 years. They were devoted to each other. Geoff’s son Josiah Zimmerman, his daughter Gloria and his sister Rachel Mattox and her husband Toby are left to cherish their memories of Geoff along with Geoff’s niece, Meredith Cooley and her family, and nephews Aaron Mattox and his family, and Will Gaskin and his family.

Geoff spent time in the Navy where he studied dental technology. He became a lab technician and repaired and made dentures for dentists. He had his own business and served many dentists from his “Corpus Christi Dental Lab.”

Geoff always wanted to help people; and he found many ways to accomplish that in his community. Strangers, friends, associates and relatives, all received his love and care in whatever manner they needed. He will always be remembered for each and every kind word or gesture that he bestowed.

A memorial visitation for Geoffrey will be held Friday, June 9, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas 78415, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM.
