Hazel T. Amos

Hazel T Amos, age 96, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away January 12, 2023. She was born in Kenbridge, Virginia on August 29, 1926 to Waverly Daniel Tomlinson and Ruth Ingram Robertson. She graduated from Kenbridge High School in Virginia. She married Carl Milton Amos on February 21, 1946. They had one son, Carl Alan Amos, on February 23, 1950. Hazel worked many years as a bank teller. She was also a long time member of Grace Presbyterian. She is survived by her sister, Vivian Donahoe; Grandson, Ryan Amos; Granddaughter, Shannon Bowen; Great-Grandchildren, Matthew Bowen and Allyson Bowen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Milton Amos and her son, Carl Alan Amos. Hazel had a passion for her church, entertaining, cooking and baking. She is at peace with her husband and son. Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 10:30 AM with funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
