Helen Love Scarpulla

She was born in Rochester, NY on December 26, 1943. Helen graduated from Nazareth Academy of Rochester, NY and received her Cosmetology Certification from Del Mar College.

Helen was married to Patrick S. Scarpulla on October 5, 1963. They were blessed with a loving marriage for 52 years. She was the Co-founder, Co-owner, and Vice President of Shoreline Plumbing Company. She was an active member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, a CCD Teacher, and had a passion for family, friends, cooking, and reading. She was a woman of strong faith, believing in the power and strength of Jesus Christ’s love.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, James T. and Margaret Connors.

Helen is survived by her husband Pat Scarpulla; children, Anita Vasquez (Bobby), Amy Arsuaga (Johnny), and Alaine Haralson (Adam); grandchildren, Amber Vela (Tony), Mitchell Sykes (Christina), Anthony Vasquez, Allison Vasquez and Sophia Haralson; great-grandchildren, Antonio J. Vela, Dominic Sykes, and Andrew Vela; and brother, James Connors.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 pm. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
