James Lee Cason Jr., age 73, of Corpus Christi, Texas entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 27, 2022. James was born April 24, 1948 in Shongaloo, LA to the late James Lee and Jewel Cason.

James is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Gloria; children, Yvonne Guerrero, Michael Guerrero and James Lee Cason III; grandchildren, Michael Guerrero Jr.(Alexis) and Albert Guerrero(Destiny); brother, Kyle Cason(Sharon) along with extended family and friends.

James was a proud Vietnam veteran and served in the United States Navy and the United States Army. Later in life he was employed as a Truck Driver with ABF and CF and retired from CCAD to enjoy his family.

He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching a good game. James was also known as a jokester who loved the beach.

A visitation for James will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly from 5:00pm-9:00pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm. A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 9:30am with interment scheduled to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
