Jane H. Garcia

She was born on January 5, 1949 in Corpus Christi to Leonardo and Paula Hernandez,

Jane is preceded in death by her father, grandson, Jessam Chavez and one sister, Angelita Trevino.

She worked as a beautician for over 3O+ years and loved her customers she loved playing bingo in her spare time.

Jane leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Margarito P. Garcia, Sr.; her mother, Paula Hernandez, one daughter, Barbara (Jesus) Chavez; three sons, Manuel (Debra) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Samuel (Laurie) Garcia of Round Rock, Texas and Margarito (Elsa) Garcia, Jr. of Corpus Christi; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Petra Pena of Corpus Christi, Rosa Gonzalez of Leander, Texas and Gracie Cano of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Pablo Hernandez, Sr. of Brazoria, Texas and Pete Hernandez, Sr. of Corpus Christi, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. A special thanks to the CCU staff of Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
