He is proceeded in death by his wife Maria Delia Garza, parents Francisco and Amelia Garza, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
He leaves his 7 children to cherish his memories; Maria Amelia Alvarado of Georgetown, TX, Jesus B. Garza of San Antonio, TX, Norma Vasquez, Orlando Benavides, and Linda Benavides of Corpus Christi, TX, David (Linda) Garza of San Antonio, TX and Ida (Juan) Vega of Oklahoma City, OK, 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Jesus was an incredible man, full of laughter, humor and above all else love for his family. He was an avid sports fan and was even able to check off a bucket list item. He attended the 2017 World Series and cheered on his beloved Astros. He loved to have family near and never missed an opportunity to crack a joke. He was full of life. His love and laughter will live on through his legacy. He will forever live in our hearts and memories.
The family would like to thank the staff of Serenity and Grace Hospice, especially Joe Vela. The bond with Joe that was built during this time meant so much to Jesus and his family.
