Jose Andres Trevino

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jose Andres Trevino, who departed this life on October 22, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on November 14, 1962, in Corpus Christi, Texas, he was the beloved son of Juan and Angelita Trevino. He spent his early years between Corpus Christi, Texas and Santa Ana, California, before eventually returning to his hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas where he planted roots and built his life. Jose Andres Trevino started off working in the refineries as a scaffold builder and then established his own landscaping business in Corpus Christi, earning the loyalty of numerous clients who respected and valued his skill and warm personality. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life—fishing, listening to music, and sharing laughter with others. Known for his warm spirit and contagious humor, he brought light and laughter to every gathering, quickly becoming the heart of any room. He was a member of the Watch Men's Retreat Team with St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Community Church in Houston, Texas, where he gave his time humbly, often helping with any tasks like sweeping and mopping. His willingness to serve in any way needed was a testament to his generous heart. He was also at one time a member of Victory outreach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Angelita Trevino, and his brother John A Trevino. He is survived by his sister Joanne Aranda, his daughter Andrea Torres and his two grandchildren Maryjane and Geno Torres who were the light of his life. Jose Andres Trevino leaves behind a legacy of hard work, friendship, and laughter. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him. Though his presence will be missed, his spirit will live on in the memories and lives he touched. May he rest in eternal peace.

A visitation for Jose will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, Corpus Christi, TX 78405. A continued visitation will occur Friday, November 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A prayer service will occur Friday, November 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A burial will occur Friday, November 1, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd, Corpus Christi, TX.
