Josefina H. Escamilla

Josefina had a passion for anything to do with plants and flowers. She also loved to volunteer at her church with the children’s ministry.

Josefina is preceded in death by both of her parents, Esteven and Lucia Hernandez; her great-grandchild, Taylor Campos; and her siblings, Manuela “MeMe” Menchaca, Rufino “Fino” Hernandez, Marcelo Hernandez, Juan Hernandez, Fermina “Minie” Hernandez, and Carlos Hernandez.

Josefina leaves her legacy to her children, Adan J. (Diana) Escamilla Jr., Abel (Mary) Escamilla, and Alma Escamilla (Tony) Montana; her grandchildren, Jessica (John) Saenz, Steven Escamilla, Michael (Julie) Escamilla, Jericho Murillo, Elise Campos, and Analisa (Daniel Villarreal, III) Ramon; her great-grandchildren, Luke Saenz, Adam Saenz, Michael Escamilla Jr., Maximus Escamilla, Andrew Campos, Brianna Campos, and Aerilynn Villarreal; and one brother, José Hernandez.

Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm with burial to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
