Joseph Flores Borrego

Joseph F. Borrego, age 80 passed away on March 24, 2014. He was born on October 27, 1933 in Watonga, Oklahoma to John Frank and Juanita F. Borrego Alaniz. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters , Marcela Rodriguez, Josie Galvan, Teresa Rodriguez, and baby daughter, Mary Jane Borrego; sons-in-law, Benito Fuentes, Ruben R. Diaz; baby grand-daughter, Marisol Isabel Ruiz.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Sofia C. Borrego; children, Christine Lucio (Raymond), Joe Borrego Jr., Arturo Borrego (Maria), Janie Ruiz (Ricardo), Margie Fuentes, Jesse Borrego , Mary Ann Davis (David), Mary Esther Garza (Joe); grandchildren, Valerie, Christopher, Jayme; Mark, Veronica, Lori , Joe Carlos, Demetrius, Brandon; Carritos , Alex, Anthony, Soledad, Sebastian; Ricky, Robby, Quentin; Benito Jr. , Brittany; Jesse Jr., Audrey, Joseph, Thomas Jay, Nicholas; Michael, Shawnee, Cheyenne, Cherokee and numerous great-grandchildren and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 27, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday March 28th, 2014 at Joseph Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
