On September 6, 1970, Juan married the love of his life, Olga Ortiz, in Corpus Christi. Together they built a beautiful family and shared 55 years of marriage.
Juan worked for many years as a carpet installer, a trade he took great pride in until his retirement in 2017. Outside of work, he enjoyed a life filled with simple joys. He loved horses and game birds, spent countless Sundays cheering on his beloved Indianapolis Colts, and took great pleasure in BBQing for his family. Known for his humor, quick wit, and playful spirit, Juan had a knack for telling jokes, pulling tricks, and giving everyone a nickname that always seemed to fit just right.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dora and Juan Antonio Pimentel, as well as numerous brothers and sisters.
Juan is survived by his devoted wife, Olga Pimentel; his children Juan “Johnny Boy” Pimentel Jr., Julio “Omega” Pimentel, Charlotte Soliz, Jerry (Sandie) Pimentel, and Joel (Priscilla) Pimentel; his grandchildren Vivian Pimentel, Robert Lee Pimentel, Cassie Sanchez, Andrew Pimentel, Johnny Pimentel, Dominic Ramirez, Jacob Pimentel, Joshua Pimentel, Matthew Soliz, Julia Pimentel, Javier Pimentel, Jael Pimentel, Janel Pimentel, Joel Pimentel Jr., and Sophia Pimentel; and 19 great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved deeply.
