One of my fondest memories of granny was every time when we visit granny, we would play uno,dominos, poker and  any game that was in that house . We would play hour on hours only to be stopped by the scoreboard. She always kept score. She would always ask “How much does that add up to?”, because she knew I was good at math and I loved answering math questions. She would always make the trip worth it!

Granny was the best grandmother a person could ask for. I have so many memories of her that I cherish, but my all time favorite is when she put me on her lap and sing nursery rhymes to me. For the rest of my life, I will never forget this memory.

We lost the greatest ever!I know we are all filled with love, gratitude, and thanks to our wonderful and beautiful mother. What a trail blazer!!!!! To accomplish what she did, with 5 children, she was before her time.
 There is a grand welcoming in heaven. 
I take comfort in knowing that there is a HUGE welcome home fiesta/ pig pickin in heaven. 

I always loved going over to Granny’s because that would mean I got to play scrabble and eat frozen grapes and watch judge Judy. I still remember the first 7 letter word I played was ‘harbors’, which I played against granny. She was impressed and irritated at the same time.

I love her and she is missed dearly.


I have fond memories of many-a-happy hour with Mom and friends.  Her order was always the same: frozen margarita, no salt.  
She loved sipping her ‘rita, eating chips and queso and listening to the mariachi’s sing.   Great memories.

Beloved Granny!  She was so happy to celebrate her 86th birthday, in Corpus Christi, with so many of her grandchildren.
