Lillie E. Godbold Terranova

Lillie Elizabeth Terranova, age 60, was called home on 14 December 2016 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born on 15 June 1956 to Thomas D. Godbold, Sr. and Peggy Tharp in Harlingen, TX. Though she spent a portion of her early years living in many different cities and states, she has called Corpus Christi, TX home for the majority of her life.

Lillie spent over 40 years as a legal secretary and, later, a paralegal for Jon Andrew Jones, Attorney at Law. Lillie was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend. When her health allowed, Lillie enjoyed cooking (especially Italian food) and gardening. She was passionate about animal welfare and those who knew her know what a special place in her heart her animals occupied. She will be most remembered for her unique dry wit, her deep devotion to those close to her, and her unwavering desire to put the needs of those less fortunate ahead of her own. Her love of helping others will carry on forever through those lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her mother Peggy Tharp, her eldest sister Cheryl Reeves, and her father, Thomas Godbold, Sr. She is survived by her children Dr. and Mrs. Scott Trexler; grandchildren, Madison Trexler and Kylie Trexler; siblings Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Godbold, Jr. and Lawana (Sam) Norman; and nieces and nephews Shanna Sawyer, Oscar (Scooter) Heavin, Jessica Norman, Timothy Norman, Christopher (Cisco) Heavin, and John T. Godbold.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Cage-Mills Funeral Director's Chapel located at 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, TX.
