Lucia O. Blackstock

She will be remembered for her strong faith and devotion to her family and also she loved a good cup of coffee. Lucia was a loving wife, mother daughter, sister and grandmother, she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dempsey D. Blackstock; her daughters, Laura (Timothy) Urias and Connie (Mark) Vega; two brothers, Tony (Diana) Casas and Joe Casas; two sisters, Rosie (Victor) Calzadillas and Beatrice (Rudy) Molina. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories four grandchildren, Aaron Timothy Urias, Annie Nichole and Alyssa Marie Urias and Marcelino “Markie” Vega III; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Family would like to thanks the doctors and the 3rd Floor ICU staff at Spohn Shoreline for the care they gave their mom and their prayers. Thank You….

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly with interment to follow at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
