Manuel Acosta Gallegos, 69 passed away with his family by his side on October 30, 2017. He was born on June 16, 1948. Even though your body and soul were ready to meet our maker, our hearts were not. Our family lost a son, husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and a loving, God fearing man. Manuel is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Crown; and maternal grandmother, Emilia Flores. He leaves his loving memories to his mother, Juana Maria Crown; beloved wife of 44 years, Margaret Gallegos; children, Virginia May (Jerry), Jaime Gallegos (Maria), Manuel B. Gallegos (Denise); grandchildren, Carlos, Adela, Maribel, Jennifer, George, Justice, Destiney, Shamar, Victoria, Shelby, Ashtin, Jarrett, Jaithan; siblings, Art Crown Jr., Scott Crown and Linda M. Crown and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. Corpus Christi, TX 78415 on Sunday, November 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. with Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
