How can we capture the totality of who Manuel O. Peña was in a matter of a few paragraphs? Simply put: we cannot. He was someone who impacted the lives of countless number of people. Strangers became friends and friends became family. Manuel’s family, friends, and those who he surrounded himself with daily are all small reflections that, when pieced together, more perfectly reflect who he was as a man, person, father, and spouse. Manuel O. Peña Jr. was born to Isabel Ornelas Peña and Manuel Treviño Peña Sr. He is survived by his spouse Rosalia del Rosario Peña and his four children, Lorri Hinojosa (John Edward Hinojosa), Adrienne Muñoz (Hector Muñoz), Jo Ann Alvarez (Ernest Alvarez), and Adam Peña. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jonathon Hinojosa, Jaydon De Los Santos, Laila Hinojosa, Andrew Garcia, Stephen Garcia, Miranda Rocha, Jayla Alvarez, Cory Muñoz, Denyse Muñoz, Sean Muñoz, Deyvna Muñoz, Jennah Muñoz, Raelynn Muñoz, and 9 great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Manuel will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A recitation of the holy rosary will occur Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A continued visitation will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 4901 Everhart Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. A funeral mass will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5830 Williams Drive, Corpus Christi, TX. An interment will occur Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, TX.
