Marco Chris Villa

Marco was born on February 21, 1965, in Corpus Christi to Francisco S. Villa and Maria Del Carmen Caceres. He graduated from West Oso High School in 1983. In 1989, he married his high school sweetheart, Becky Fernandez, and together they made their home in Corpus Christi. They raised two sons and built a life full of love and family.

Marco is survived by his wife Becky Villa, his sons Marco C. Villa Jr. and his wife Veronica, and Matthew J. Villa and his wife Jennifer. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Addison, Jenna, and Joshua. His sisters Letie Villa and Mary Alice Killingsworth, his sister-in-law Telma Villa (Frank Villa), and numerous nieces and nephews will continue to cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maria Del Carmen Caceres and Francisco Villa; his brother, Frank Villa; and his in-laws, Federico S. and Rosa Fernandez. He is also reunited in rest with Cynthia and Manuel Rodriguez (sister and brother-in-law) and Clementina Fernandez (sister-in-law).

Marco dedicated more than 30 years of service as a Healthcare Facilitator at the Corpus Christi State School. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his passion for the Dallas Cowboys, and his joy in taking his grandchildren to Burger-Burger (Whataburger). He always had a smile, was quick with a kind word, and never missed a chance to share a laugh. His warm, easygoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, followed by a Rosary and a Funeral Service beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered love, support, and kindness during this difficult time. Your prayers, thoughts, and presence have brought great comfort.
