Maria Rosa Garcia passed away on March 7, 2013. She was 98. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013. Funeral service wil be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013 at Holy Reedemer Catholic Church, 1602 Garcia Street, Laredo, Texas. Interment will follow at City Cemetery, 3501 N.Meadow St., Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Melecio Garcia; daughter, Frances Lopez; sister, Maria Luisa Flores; grandson, Ricardo Rodriguez; and granddaughter, Lisa Michelle Lopez.
She is survived by her children, Jose Luis (Rosa) Rodriguez, Ricardo (Juanita) Garcia, Jose Refugio Garcia, Arturo (Lillian) Garcia, Rosa Maria Rodriguez, Elma (Hilario) Valadez, Guadalupe (Raul) Rios and Gloria Estrada; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
