

Maria Buena Ventura Ybarra was welcomed into the presence of our Lord on December 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She joins her beloved husband, Eudocio E. Ybarra, who passed away in 2005, with whom she shared nearly 50 years of marriage, beginning on April 23, 1956.
Born on April 9, 1932, in La Ascensión, Nuevo León, Mexico, Ventura lived a long, grace-filled life rooted in deep Catholic faith. She was especially devoted to Our Lady of Guadalupe, honoring her with unwavering love and prayer throughout her life. Through her example, Ventura taught her family how to have faith and instilled in them the power of prayer a gift that will continue to guide her loved ones.
She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother of seven children: Feliciano B. (Raquel) Ybarra; Natividad Y. (Ricardo) Verdin; Isabel Liza Y. (Anthony) Gaia; Israel B. Ybarra; Gerardo B. Ybarra; Noe B. (Catherine) Ybarra; and Francisco B. Ybarra. She was also a proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren, a doting great-grandmother to 19 great-grandchildren, a devoted sister, a loyal friend, and a kind neighbor. Her family was her greatest treasure. She provided a loving and stable home, filled with warmth and family tradition.
Ventura was known for her gentle humor, often bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around her. A kind and generous soul, she was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She found deep joy in the simple beauties of life preparing homemade meals, tending to her many plants, sharing laughter with friends, and spending cherished time with her family as she celebrated their lives and accomplishments.
Her legacy of love, faith, and caring spirit will be treasured by all who knew her, and her memory will continue to bloom in the hearts of her family for years to come a lasting reminder of a life well lived and deeply cherished.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerardo and Adelaida Balderas; her husband, Eudocio Esquivel Ybarra; her eldest son, Jesus B. Ybarra; her granddaughter, Angelica Maria Ybarra; grandson, Israel Scott Ybarra; her sisters, Maria de Jesus (Jose) Mancilla and Ageda (Emilio) Mariscan; her brothers, Julio (Bertha) Balderas. Juaquin Balderas and Isabel Balderas; twin sister-in-laws and spouse, Angelina Y. (Hugo N.) Cedillo and Maria de los Angeles, “Angelita” (Benito C.) Martinez; her nephews, Fernando Ronquillo, Armando Everett, Jose de Jesus Balderas and Saul B. Mancilla; and her niece, Bertha Sujelli Balderas.
Left to cherish her memory are her seven children, Feliciano B. (Raquel) Ybarra, Natividad Y. (Ricardo) Verdin, Isabel Liza Y. (Anthony) Gaia, Israel B. Ybarra, Gerardo B. Ybarra, Noe B (Catherine) Ybarra and Francisco B. Ybarra, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews who will lovingly remember her warmth and kindness.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2025, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, at 10:00am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with the interment to follow immediately after at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
