Mary “Morena” Ramon-Clark

Mary “Morena” Ramon-Clark, age 82, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025. She was born in Robstown, Texas, on June 28, 1942, to parents Guadalupe G. Ramon and Antonia Musquiz.

Mary went on to marry her beloved husband, Timoteo S. Clark on August 17, 1974, in Robstown, Texas.

Mary was always the life of any party; she loved to sing and dance to conjunto music. One of her favorite pastimes was playing bingo at Weber Bingo with her bingo buddy, Kristi Costilla. She also enjoyed gardening, plants, and her favorite flower was yellow roses.

The family will fondly reminisce on Mary’s stories and memories of her travels and how much she enjoyed the scenery of different states including California, New Mexico, Arizona, Oregon, and Las Vegas, Nevada. On her weekends, Mary would love to spend time with her family and play Loteria or Pokeno.

Mary is reunited with her first husband, Manuel “el Macho” Soliz; second husband, Timoteo S. Clark; parents, Guadalupe G. and Antonia M. Ramon; daughter, Veronica Clark; stepson, Timoteo Clark Jr.; stepdaughter, Arminda Clark; granddaughters, Sarae Amaris Gomez and Pamela Michelle Blowe; grandson, Juan Lopez, and great-grandson, Ezra David.

Mary leaves her memories to her children, Diana (Kelvin) Soliz-Rollins, Jose Luis (Carmen Gonzales) Soliz, Martha Irene (Esequiel) Gonzales, Monica Clark Martinez, Rebecca Lee Clark, Anthony (Andrea) Clark, and Gabriel Cipriano; stepchildren, Dianne Clark and Angy Clark; 34 most cherished grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bertha Ramon (Benny) Martinez, Anita Ramon-Escareno, Lupita Ramon (Ector) Verdin; as well as numerous members of extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to all their family and friends who helped take care of Mary and all the prayer warriors who prayed for her daily. The family would also like to thank Holy Savior Hospice for their compassionate care of Mary, as well as the help and resources they provided to the family.
