Mary Chaney

Mary Lee Chaney, 78, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away May 5, 2019. She was born in Goliad, Texas on January 2, 1941. Mary graduated from Nursing school with an Associated Degree in Vocational Nursing. She was married to John Wilbor Chaney on February 2, 1962. Mary had a career as an LVN for many hospitals, nursing homes and State Medical Facilities. She enjoyed shopping, Bingo and her grandchildren.

Her husband, her parents and a brother preceded Mary in death. She is survived by her son, John Chaney and two daughters, Susan Kruse and Debra Jhaver; 9 Grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother, 1 sister and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5-9 pm, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with Holy Rosary recited at 7 pm that same evening. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at 2 pm, Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at St. Peter Prince of the Apostle Parish, 3901 Violet Road, Corpus Christi. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
