Mauro Cavazos Muniz

He was preceded in death by his son Robert Muniz Sr. and daughter Melissa Gutierrez.

He is survived by his daughter Isabel M. (Eddie) Hinojosa, ex-wife Sulema R. Muniz, his Sister Molly Diaz, grandchildren John (Rita) Trevino, Jason M. Hinojosa, Anna (Willie) Reyes, Robert Muniz Jr., great-grandchildren Jasmine Trevino, Sofia Hinojosa, Caleb Muniz, and Jax Trevino and many nieces and nephews.

He was an avid sports car and motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed attending car and bike shows. He spent many hours in his garage tinkering with and refurbishing old cars. He always loved the challenge repairing carburetors and owned his own paint and body shop for over 50 years. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The designated pallbearers are: Jason Hinojosa, Eddie Hinojosa, Robert Muniz Jr., John Trevino, Arnold Cavazos and Gary Herrada.
