Noel Rodriguez Jr.

Noel Rodriguez Jr., “NoNo”, age 42, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Noel Rodriguez Sr. and Maria Luisa Palacios on January 12, 1981. Noel will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Noel Rodriguez Jr. graduated from Moody High School and is known for his generosity and friendship. He had a passion for being his “own boss”. Noel was an entrepreneur and worked with his father Noel Rodriguez Sr. as a painter. Regardless of Noel losing his eyesight throughout the years he continued his passion and dedication to artistry and cars. He was a tattooist and spent hours drawing. Noel was part of a Corpus Christi Car club and loved the days of endless cruising hours in Corpus Christi, Texas. He loved to cook and would never turn down the chance to try new cuisine.

He is preceded in death by his father Noel Rodriguez Sr.; grandfathers, Faustino Jimenez, Jose H. Rodriguez and Grandmother Consuelo Rodriguez.

Noel Rodriguez Jr. is survived by his wife Claudia Rivera Rodriguez. Left to cherish his memories are loving parents, Maria Palacios and Martin Palacios Jr.; siblings, Mark A. Rodriguez (Claudia L. Rodriguez), Leon Rodriguez, Amanda M. Vaquera (Antonio F.Vaquera), Stephanie Henderson, Stacy Lopez; Grandmother Ofelia Jimenez and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family, and dear friends.

His legacy continues through his beloved children, Amariah R. Rodriguez, Kasiah M. Rodriguez, Zilee Pavlik; grandchildren, Ella Rose Rodriguez Orta, Josiah Samuel Noel Rodriguez Orta, Avery Marie Nicole Sanchez, Liliana Vanelope Sanchez, and one grandchild on the way, Kataleia Rodriguez.

Honoring Noel as pallbearers are Martin Palacios Jr. (step-father), Mark Anthony Rodriguez (brother), Mark Anthony Rodriguez Jr. (nephew), Antonio F. Vaquera (brother-in-law), Martin Palacios III (step-brother), Andres R. Gomez (step-father).

A Celebration of Life for Noel Rodriguez Jr. will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. A funeral service will occur Friday, January 12, 2024 at 12:30 PM, 3442 Holly Rd, Corpus Christi, TX 78415. A funeral cortege to Memory Gardens Crematory will occur Friday, January 12, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Memory Gardens Crematory, 8200 Old Brownsville Rd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78415.
