Norma Lorene Baker

Norma Lorene Baker passed away on May 17, 2016 in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born on January 5, 1930 in Zabcikville, TX to the late Henry and Mollie Chudej. She worked as an Insurance Agent for John Hancock Insurance for 38 years and was President of the Sokol Hall of Corpus Christi (SPJST # 79) for 12 years. She was a member of the Circle of Women in Corpus Christi and loved to crochet when her health allowed her to.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse of 61 years; brother, A.J. Chudej and many nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Weise (Alex); granddaughter, Hollie Weise; great-grandchildren, Marilynne, Askyla, Cyllian and Evlynn. Norma also leaves behind a brother, Raymond Chudej (Natalie); sister, Ella Chudej; sisters-in-law, Pauline Schwertner and Loretta Baker and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
