Norma M Garza

Norma M. Garza, 66, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away July 13, 2017. She was born in Falfurrias, Texas, on October 28, 1950. Norma graduated from Falfurrias High School and attended Texas A&I University. She worked for several years caring for people with disabilities. Norma was employed with Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Ada Wilson and Corpus Christi State School. Norma had a passion for playing Bingo, cooking, baking and listening to music.

She is survived by her lifelong companion of over 30 years, Gustavo Quintanilla; brothers, Noe Garza, Onofre Garza (Marcela) and Juan R. Garza; daughter, Odella Mata Rodriguez; grandchildren, Amber L. Mata, Jacob M. Rodriguez and Kimberly R. Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Kali L. Martinez, Zachary R. Gonzalez and Renesmee M. Gonzalez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel – Memorial Holly. Services will conclude after.
