God, in his infinite mercy, called his faithful daughter Oralia C. Herrera to her eternal rest on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Oralia had a deep and untiring love for her family. She was always willing and unafraid to share her love of God with others, and to be a help to others in their need. She was a gifted artist who loved music, gardening, and had a special passion in her heart for life. In her calling as a mother, Oralia planted beautiful seeds of faith and love of God in her children, grandchildren and family that will flourish for years to come, as well as in others whom she touched through the course of her life.
Oralia is preceded in death by her father, Juan Campos and sister, Lupita Campos.
Oralia leaves behind her family to cherish her memories, her mother, Guadalupe M. Campos; her loving and devoted husband, Ruperto D. Herrera; her children, Orlando (Norma) Herrera of Houston, Texas, Amanda (Oscar) Peña and Omar (Lisa) Herrera both of Corpus Christi; Javier (Marisela) Herrera of Houston, Texas and David Herrera of Corpus Christi and fourteen grandchildren whom she deeply cared for. She also leaves behind six sisters, Gloria, Ana Maria, Yolanda, Sylvia, Dora and Graciela; six brothers, Juan Angel, Antonio, Armando, Alejandro, Jose “ Joe” Arturo, and Rogelio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
“I have never stopped thanking God for you and recommending you in my prayers, May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory grant you a spirit of wisdom and insight to know him clearly.” Ephesians 1:15-17.
