

He was born on September 11, 1945 to the late Juan and Maximiana Mora in Sinton, Texas. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Mora and two sisters.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from CCAD after 30+years of service.
Porfirio leaves behind his family to cherish his memories, his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Irma L. Mora; four children, Celia Mora (Mario), Jacqueline Mora (Angel), Porfirio Juan “P.J.” Mora (Veronica) and Charles M. Mora; seven grandchildren, E.J., Dani, Hannah, Diego, Greyson, Joshua and Noah; five siblings, San Juana (Lee), Julia, Tomas (Neely), Tony (Mary) and Petra; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
