Rafael Reyes Vega

Rafael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam.

He is preceded in death by his father; Pedro Vega, his daughter; Veronica V. Rodriguez and his sister; Trinidad Mendoza.

Rafael leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 41 years; Maria G. Vega; two daughters; Monica Vega and Jessica (Manuel Padilla) Vega; three grandchildren; Lorena Rodriguez, Luis J. Rodriguez and Araceli Vega; mother; Hortencia Vega; eight siblings; Feliciano (Late Velinda) Vega, Jose Vega, Rafael N. (Noemi) Vega, Raul (Rosio) Vega, Pete (Hilda) Vega, Cornelio Vega, Librada (Ben) Gutierrez, Eva (Eddie) Moncevais; brother in law, Victor Mendoza and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vistation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. the same evening.

Funeral Service will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
