Rafaela F. Amaya

Rafaela F. Amaya was called home by Our Lord and Savior on September 20, 2013 with her loving family by her side and her daughter, Irma holding her hand. She was a most loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all. Her beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew her, but her love felt forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe G. Amaya and son, Johnny Amaya.

Rafaela is survived by her children, Irma (Jorge) Pena, Irene Amaya, Roy (Laura) Amaya, Norma (Raymundo) Cano, 4-Brothers, 4-Sisters, 10-Grandchildren, 7-Great-Grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Pallbearers will be, Robert Thompson, Jr. Hector Pena, Jr., Johnny Amaya, Erik Gonzalez, Joel Amaya, Ray Cano, Joe Thompson, and Trey Masqueda.

Visitation will be at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly Funeral Home on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. Funeral Service will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with internment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
