Reynaldo R. Lichtenberger Jr.

Reynaldo Reyes Lichtenberger was born on December 11th 1944 in San Diego, Texas. He graduated from Freer high school where he played football and basketball. After high school he enlisted in the Army where he served in Vietnam in the 199th Light Infantry Brigade. Following his service he worked for 36 years at CCAD as an inspector. Reynaldo enjoyed working on his ranch in Seven Sisters alongside his three sons. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and rancher. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Reynaldo R. Lichtenberger Sr., and, Dora Lozano. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of over 56 years, Norma Saenz Lichtenberger. Sons, Randall Ray (Rosalinda) Lichtenberger, Ronald Ray Sr. (Veronica) Lichtenberger and Ryan Ray (Marisela) Lichtenberger. His brother, Albento Lichtenberger (Nancy). Sisters, Edna De Los Santos (Ladislado), Norma L. Chapa (+ Ponciano Chapa), Rosalinda Barrera (Romero), Pablo & Janie Saenz. Sister-in-law, Elma Galvan (Homero); brother-in-law, Rafael Saenz (Nella). Grandchildren Jessica Colunga , Raquel Rae, Alexa Rae, Victoria Nicole, Ashley Rose, Sarah Renee, Phillip Randall, Ronald Ray Jr, Abel Reyes, Emilie Elisabeth, Isabella Ofelia and Elias Henry. Great Grandchildren Michael Jimenez, Andrew Ray Lichtenberger-Soto, Meiko Rodela, Caleaha Colunga, Lyla Olivia Lichtenberger and Evelyn Jolene Flores. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Reynaldo will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Everhart, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. A holy rosary will occur Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 4901 Everhart Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78411. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 3210 S. Padre Island Dr., Corpus Christi, TX 78411. A committal service will occur Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 I-37 Access Road, Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
