Rolando D Ybarra

Rolando graduated from West Oso High School and later earned his degree and LVN certification from Del Mar College. He dedicated his career to nursing, a field he was deeply passionate about, and found great purpose in caring for others.

He enjoyed western movies, baseball, and playing various games, always bringing joy to those around him with his easy going nature.

Rolando was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Crispin Ybarra Jr. He is survived by his devoted brother, Guadalupe “Lupe” Ybarra, and sister-in-law, Janie Ybarra, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Windsor Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care.

A visitation for Rolando will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Corpus Christi, 549 Cheyenne St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78405. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM that evening. Continued Visitation will begin Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 9:30 AM. The Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church, 1101 Bloomington St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78416. Burial will follow at 11:30 AM at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St, Corpus Christi, Texas 78408.
