Rosa Maria Guerrero Villarreal

Rosa "Rosie" Maria Guerrero Villarreal, 55, died, at her Corpus Christi home on July 19, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. with her family by her side. Rosie was born March 7, 1959, in Mission, Texas to Alvaro Julio & Adela Guerrero.

In 1986, "Rosie" began her career with CP&L (Central Power & Light Co). Rosie dedicated her life to ensuring absolute excellence. She excelled through the years to become a Service Dispatcher with the same company that is now known as AEP (American Electric Power). She cared for all her AEP family as her own and put her heart into taking care of each and every person she worked with.

Rosie is survived by her children Roman (Shelly) Villarreal, Rena (Trae) Talley, J.R. (Dulce) Villarreal, Her four grandchildren, Daaron Jae, Matteo, Destiny, & Jaylee, Her mother Adela Guerrero, her seven brothers and sisters, many cousins, and outstanding amount of friends.

She was preceded in death by her soul mate Rene' Villarreal, her sister Maria Lena Guerrero, and her father Alvaro J. Guerrero.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited that same evening at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Funeraria Del Angel-Memorial Holly. Funeral mass and burial will take place in Mission, Texas, under the direction of Ric Brown Funeral Home, 621 E. Griffin Parkway, Mission, Texas.
