Ruben Luis Galaviz

He was born in Yuba City, California on July 13, 1971 to Ruben and Aurora Galaviz. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be remembered and cherished for his adventurous and out-spoken spirit and daring personality. Ruben could make anyone and everyone laugh and was always ready to help anyone in need.

Ruben is reunited with his paternal grandmother, Maria Socorro Galaviz; maternal grandparents, Aurelio and Isabel Lozano; father, Ruben Galaviz; and his uncle, Samuel Galaviz.

He leaves his loving memories to his mom, Aurora Galaviz-Fuentes; beloved wife of 28 years, Elvira Galaviz; children, Ruben R. Galaviz, Victoria Galaviz-Kelley (Tyler), Breanna Galaviz, Eliyah Galaviz; grandson, Conner James Kelley; brothers, Abel Galaviz, Javier Galaviz, Kevin Galaviz; and his lifelong friend, Mark Salas. He is also survived by his cousin’s, John Lopez, Robert Lopez, Samuel Galaviz, Gerardo Galaviz; nephews, Brandon and Nicholas Galaviz.

A Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Memorial Holly, 3442 Holly Rd. on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. Services will conclude in the Chapel.
