

He was preceded in death by both of his parents; son, James Ramon; and brother, Jose Luis Ramon.
Silver is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Maria Ramon; children, Fernando Gallardo, Louann Portales (Angel), Sylvia Ramon (Chris), Cynthia Cavazos (Anibal) and Sylvester Ramon (Saira) IV; grandchildren, John-Austin, R. J., Estevan, Fabian, Elyssa, Denise, Destiny, Issac, and Jaymez, his baby Precious; two brothers, Arturo and Daniel; five sisters, Sylvia, Dora, Rosalinda, Dolores and Adel; six half-brothers; four half-sisters, Roger, Rudy, Ruben, Rene, Rolando, Rita, Rachel, Dora, Corina and Andres; and many numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Silver was a loving husband, father, and grandfather that will be missed by everyone that knew him. Silver was the owner/ operator of Silver's Pools and Spas for over 15 years. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed football, both coaching Little League and later by sponsoring teams. He will be remembered for the enjoyment he had while hanging out with his friends playing pool. He was also a Veteran with the United States Marine Corp.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Funeraria Del Angel, 549 Cheyenne, at 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service and Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A funeral service will be conducted at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel, on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
