Stanley spend many years of his life in farming on the family farms in Robstown and Mathis area. At an early age, he knew that serving God was a call he could not escape. He served as a teacher, elder, and pastor in many local churches. Stanley also was the founder and pastor of New Life Church of Denver in Lakewood, Colorado.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Connie Dee Setliff; son, Jason Thomas Setliff of Kentucky; daughter, Desiree Alene Eernissee of Sinton and eleven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10:30 a.m.
