

Tamera Lynn Franklin passed from this life into the next on February 20, 2024 at the age of 61. She was a born in Corpus Christi on July 15, 1962. She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.
Tamera is reunited with her father, Billy Franklin Sr.; and her son, Sean Riley.
Tamera was a loving mother, Grammy, daughter, sister, and friend. She lived for her children and grandson and was quite the social butterfly, and will always be remembered for being a friend to all. She was a Tuloso-Midway High School graduate and proudly won Homecoming Queen. Tamera went on to serve her community as an administrative representative with the Nueces County Clerks office for 30 beautiful years, from there she excelled to working at the City Secretary office for 10 years with City Hall of Corpus Christi.
Tamera had a passion for leading donations for charities and had a generous heart. Her family will miss playing games together and watching her favorite football teams, The Dallas Cowboys, The Texas Longhorns and U of H Cougars. She enjoyed life to the fullest, especially when she got to attend live concerts and visit her daughters in Houston. Tamera will forever be the staple in her family’s lives.
She is survived by her mother, Patricia Franklin; her daughters, Danielle Garza (Mathew), Jenna Riley; her grandson who was the light of her life, Sean Garza; her brother, Billy Franklin Jr. (Paige); and her sister, Holly Riley (Rory). She also leaves a host of numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends for the viewing at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Memory Gardens Cemetery surrounded by family and friends.
