Virgil Reeves, Jr. went to be with Jesus on July 13, 2016. He was born on March 3, 1929 in Montague, Texas. He was married 36 years to his wife, Goldie Mae. Virgil was a Southern Baptist Minister and school teacher. He will be remembered by his desire to share the Gospel of Christ with others. He is survived by his wife, Goldie Mae, son, David Reeves (Gracie), daughters, Sharon Reeves and Lynette McCarty (Steve), 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2016 in the Chapel at Memory Gardens with interment to follow.
