

Advanced Senior Mother Anna Grace Bell, age 85, was called from labor to reward on November 5, 2016 at Coshocton Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Coshocton, Ohio. Advanced Senior Mother Anna Grace Bell was born on May 7, 1931 in West Grove, Pennsylvania to the late Mr. James Henry Bond, Sr. and St. Harriett Brown-Bond. Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell graduated from Avon Grove High School in 1949. After graduation she moved to Coshocton, Ohio where she worked in various office and administrative positions at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob.
Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell was known for her strong will. She was very outspoken and honest. You always knew what she believed in and she wasn’t afraid to share her thoughts and opinions, without reservation. Advance Senior Mtr. Anna Bell had many notable skills including sewing clothes, her ability to organize and plan events as well as her passion for helping those in need.
Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell married the late Bishop Edward Gabriel Bell, Sr. on February 25, 1968 in West Grove, Pennsylvania. She dedicated her life to taking care of Bishop Edward Gabriel Bell, Sr. She was known for her cooking and hospitality and hosted countless saints in her home on a regular basis. Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell loved children and provided daycare services to many children. After the passing of Bishop Edward Gabriel, Sr. in 1986, Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell followed her passions and began working with the Prince Georges County Public School System. She worked from 1986-1988 at Fairmont Heights Senior High School and then matriculated to Kenmoor Middle School where she worked as a para professional and testing coordinator for 18 years. Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell made enduring friendships at Kenmoor Middle School. She was loved by many and impacted both staff and children in positive ways during her tenure. She always went the extra mile for the kids, often taking clothes to school for those in need, as well as cooking meals they could take home. Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell retired in 2006.
Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell is survived by three sons: Edward Gabriel Bell, Jr., Solomon Bell, and James Method; three daughters: Abigail Johnson, Ruth Harris, and Anna Maria Bell; one sister, Lillian Caine, 16 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents, Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell is preceded in death by her son, General Bell.
Funeral Services for Advanced Senior Mtr. Anna Bell will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob, 13151 Loretto Rd., Princess Anne, MD 21853. Burial will follow at Israel’s Memorial Cemetery.
