Deloris Margene Leach

She was born in Coshocton County, Ohio, on April 5, 1928, the daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Watson) Haines. Jean graduated from Union High School in 1946, and was a home health aide, and enjoyed gardening, and sewing. She was a long time member of Victory Baptist Church in Coshocton, Ohio. Jean was married to Wilbur Hall, and later to Harold Leach, both of whom preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son, Wilbur Dean (Ritchie Ann) Hall, of West Lafayette; her daughter, Beverly (Tom) Hicks, of West Lafayette; and her step-daughter, Karen Howell of Indiana. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Jean was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara; her bother, Robert; and two sisters, Virginia Wilson and Ruby Roberts.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Given Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, Ohio, on Friday, August 28, 2015, at 11:00am, officiated by Rev. Ralph Johnson. Burial will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 27, 2015, from 5-7pm, and until service time on Friday.
