Dorothy graduated from Elyria High School in 1941 and retired from Newcomerstown High School as a custodian. On May 20, 1963, she married Eugene Scott who passed away on April 8, 1980.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Dale (Linda) Scott of Plainfield; two grandchildren, David (April) Scott of Plainfield and Debbie (fiancé A.J. Gerlach) Scott of Colorado; two great-grandchildren, Daniel and Katelyn Scott; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Babcock.
A private graveside services was held at Plainfield Cemetery.
